Workspaces are still in preview, but they let users share a set of tabs and favorites with others while keeping everything in sync.
There are also several new policies in Microsoft Edge 107, including one for enabling the Workspaces feature Microsoft announced at Ignite earlier this month. If you find it intrusive, you can disable this sidebar with one click, and IT admins can also disable it with a Group Policy. If you haven’t seen it yet, this sidebar provides access to Bing search,, Office, casual games, and tools such as a calculator and unit converter. Since the web browser moved to a 4-week release cycle last year, monthly updates have been somewhat less significant, though the release notes Microsoft publishes don’t always tell the full story.Īccording to the release notes for Microsoft Edge version 107, the Edge sidebar is the main new feature, though as far as I know, it was already available on Edge 106 as well.
